Dressed in UTEP orange neckties and scarves, with silver pickaxe pins on their lapels, about 60 UTEP ambassadors – alumni and friends of The University of Texas at El Paso – joined University President Diana Natalicio, The University of Texas System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa, The University of Texas System Board of Regents Vice Chair Paul Foster, and the El Paso legislative delegation at the Texas Capitol to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Texas State School of Mines and Metallurgy.
