UTEP students will take a much-needed break from studying for their final exams and enjoy a free meal. The finals week tradition features breakfast foods, music and giveaways as a way to support students as they study.

The El Paso Chapter of the UTEP Alumni Association will have its annual holiday party at Club 101. Tickets: $15 per person at the door. Information: 915-474-8600.

Health Sciences and Nursing Building Lobby
College of Health Sciences Blanket Drive
Members with the Community Affairs Committee at UTEP’s College of Health Sciences will collect blankets to make sure El Paso’s less fortunate stay warm this winter. The UTEP and El Paso communities are invited to donate.
The blankets will be delivered to the El Paso Rescue Mission shortly after the drive. This is one of many ways the college gives back to the community. Last year, 55 blankets were collected and delivered to the Salvation Army.

2012 Winter Commencement
About 2,350 students, including 438 summer graduates, are eligible to graduate. This marks an all-time high for a winter Commencement – the 129th Commencement at UTEP.
Thousands of proud family members and friends are expected to join the graduates to celebrate their academic achievement at 9 a.m. for the College of Liberal Arts, 2 p.m. for the colleges of Education and Business Administration, and 7 p.m. for the School of Nursing and the colleges of Science, Engineering, and Health Sciences.
