Economists, Academics and Business Leaders to Talk About Borderplex Regional Economy

WHAT: 9th Border Economic Forum: “How Does 2014 Look for the Paso Del Norte Region?”
WHEN: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
WHERE: El Paso Natural Gas Conference Center at The University of Texas at El Paso

The El Paso Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas in partnership with The University of Texas at El Paso Border Region Modeling Project and the Center for the Study of Western Hemispheric Trade will host a forum about the borderplex regional economy.

UTEP President Diana Natalicio will give welcoming remarks at 8:30 a.m. Forum topics will include what local, national and cross-border trends are expected to impact business conditions and quality of life in 2014 in the borderplex region of El Paso, southern New Mexico and northern Mexico, as well as how the University impacts the regional economy.

The forum is free and open to the public. You must register to attend.
